We had confirmed this with the Alabama State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. We also provide supplements to help with immune support and patient education. Chiropractors receive post graduate coursework in physiology, biochemistry, and public health so the study of infections, viruses, and bacterial are part of our required education as a clinical doctor.
Of course, if you test positive for COVID-19, self-isolate, and seek medical help whenever you or a family member displays threatening symptoms.
Chiropractic patients come to our office for headaches, pain and joint discomfort. We don't treat conditions likely to spread infection or with severe at risk health conditions.
We individually schedule patients for a specific set time, so our 3600 sq ft office rarely seems full. Few patients are individually scheduled throughout the day. We normally see no more than 9 patients in the morning and 9 patients in the afternoon daily schedule. Each office is open only twice a week with alternating days at each office. It's very easy to manage "safe spacing" and sanitation at each office.

STATISTICS ON THE NEWLY IDENTIFIED COVID-19 from *"MEDICAL NEWS TODAY"
This one of many corona-viruses started most likely in November of 2019 in the Wuhan province of China associated with exotic birds, bats, reptiles, and small animals in handling and "unclean" food preparation. As of "February 17, 2020, there were 44,000 confirmed diagnoses."* 80% were mild, 14% caused breathlessness and pneumonia, 5% caused the failure of one or more organ, and 2% caused death*. Numbers have increased, but the mortality rate is at .5%-1.5% in the states. Recently as of 10/8/2020, there appears to be information that the virus was genetically manipulated to increase human contamination.
This is very concerning, but statistically, it is lower right now in the U.S. than the loss of tens of thousands each year to what we have called the "common seasonal flu."
No one knows if this outbreak will rival the top lethal viruses seen in modern history, only time will tell. Recently, most statistics are obscured by politics. They are made to seem more threatening, but the lethality is very low and selective. The President, 74 years old, contracted this flu and was released in 3 days without obvious risk. Unfortunately, most recorded deaths had very debatable comorbidity issues with many common live-ending conditions prior to the infection. We may never receive objective data.
